NASA's
International Space Station (ISS) has captured a silhouette photo of
Space Shuttle Endeavour against Earth's horizon line as it descended in "low-Earth orbit". The following images were taken by an astronaut aboard the International Space Station before Endeavour landed at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida around midnight on February 10th 2010 during the
STS-130 mission. They are pretty jaw-dropping:
Similarly an astronaut aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour took the following photo of the International Space Station just before it's descent:
