SpectraSoul - The Pinnacle of Real Drum and Bass

SpectraSoul, as it stands in 2010, have come far; having been residents at The End in London and to date becoming one of the best things to happen to drum and bass since Noisia, since Bad Company, since Ed Rush & Opticle, since LTJ Bukem. Having started to teach myself on the decks when I was 12 years old, I am no stranger to drum and bass. Something happened when I heard their track, 'Insignia', on a Doc Scott mix set. My sense of hearing really went to a place it had never been before, and from there I heard 'Melodies'. They create a fusion of purest drum and bass and crisp, epic and mystical sound design that is incomparable. Of course they do vary their style and maintain upmost quality across the spectrum (I love dark, heavy techy stuff and I love jungleist music); but it is this deeper, more complex sound that appeals to me more and which borders on the spiritual; sometimes the rush from music is incredible. SpectraSoul are at the pinnacle of real drum and bass. Don't just take my word for it:

Immaculate yes? The future of drum and bass is in safe hands.
