Autonomic, a label / movement / genre (practically) created by dBridge, Instra:Mental and ASC that takes the rhythm and cutting edge, electronic sounds of drum and bass (and everything else since) and reduces it to half-tempo; sometimes even slower and more minimal. The effect of this music, which is available in a regular Autonomic podcast here, is astounding; taking everything I love about these producers' sounds, the music from which they are inspired and the future of music (which I can only dream of) and melding it into a sound that has not only never been heard before but is truly a futuristic and perfect new form of music. I am mesmerized by the fusion of head-nod down beats and the unrelenting, dancing energy of their musical compositions.
