The Gift - Phillips Cinema Parallel Lines

This is so good -- a short film from Carl Erik Rinsch made for Phillips Cinema Parallel Lines; an initiative in association with Ridley Scotts Associates that sees all participating directors create a short film that utilizes the same lines of dialogue:

"What is that?"
"A Unicorn."
"Never seen one up close before."
"Get away."
"I'm sorry ."

'The Gift' caught my attention at Empire Online and is supposedly in-line to be adapted into a major feature. The piece portrays a dismal reality, with humans living among robots and coveting a secretive box:

'DarkRoom', by Johnny Hardstaff, is an equally sinister piece of tech-noir that presents a twisted kidnapping plot in a Blade-Runner-esque city:
