Kimberly Mine - The Big Hole
This weird marvel came up on my screen this morning. The Big Hole, also known as Kimberley Mine in South Africa is the world's largest hole excavated by humans. It took 50,000 miners to dig it for the purpose of finding diamonds since they were first discovered in the 19th Century.
